Digital Marketing Analyst

Group 8A is a growing digital marketing agency based in New York City. We service an array of new and established brands and are looking for hardworking, bright and ambitious Marketing Analysts to help our clients succeed in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent career experience
  • Prior work experience and thorough working knowledge of digital marketing / web analytics in the following areas: Search Engine Marketing, Display & Remarketing, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent work ethic and organization/prioritization abilities
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic and collaborative team settings


  • Analyze and report on web analytics data across multiple channels with recommendations on optimization and improvement
  • Implement relevant findings of marketing analysis and monitor results closely
  • Prepare and implement A/B testing across digital channels
  • Prepare and deliver projection modeling for various marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Measure and report account performance with a focus on client profitability and scale
  • Ensure settings are properly set-up for web analytics and reporting tools including, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Shopify, Magento, Klayvio, YouTube, Facebook, Microsoft Bing
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of digital channels and provide data-driven optimization feedback
  • Conduct advanced Email analysis and segmentation
  • Work closely with team to devise digital marketing strategies and work to implement and monitor these campaigns
  • Interface with clients and project managers to service clients in various markets
  • Research methods to enhance existing accounts based on new or underutilized marketing technique and tools
  • Research and report on trending products and markets, particularly in the digital universe

Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with attribution modeling and reporting including, offline to online, across multiple screens and across digital channels
  • Google Adwords and Google Analytics certifications
  • Experience with trend research and reporting (i.e. trend spotting, qualifying trend leads)
  • Basic familiarity with web development and understanding of HTML/CSS
